Buy less. Wear more.
Vær exists because the price on the tag is the least interesting number about a piece of clothing. What it costs you every time you put it on — that is the number that changes how you shop.
What Vær does
Vær tracks cost per wear across your wardrobe. You add each piece with what you paid for it, tap once every time you wear it, and watch the real cost of the item fall. Over time the app shows which pieces earn their place, which ones sit unworn, and what your wardrobe actually costs you.
Why cost per wear
A £200 coat worn a hundred times costs £2 a wear. A £30 shirt worn twice costs £15. Cost per wear reverses the usual instinct that cheap is thrifty, and it rewards wearing what you already own rather than buying more of it.
How we handle your data
Vær uses no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising trackers. We do not collect device identifiers, location, or browsing behaviour, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing. Your wardrobe data is used only to run the features you see in the app.
Who makes it
Vær is built and operated by Diama s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic. It is a small, independent project — there is no growth team and no investor deck behind it, just an app we wanted to use ourselves.
What it costs
Vær is free to start, covering up to three items. Unlimited items and the enhanced analytics come with a one-time Pro upgrade — not a subscription. Purchases are handled by Apple; payment details never reach us.
